Hey everybody, I’m back with a recommendation for home security software.
There are tons of these bad boys out there, each promising to help speed up your computer and remove unwanted items from your hard drive, so where’s the best place to look? I know I’d usually like to promote free products but I recently purchased Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and it’s been working wonders for me. I don’t actually use all of the features they loaded onto it but for the few I need I couldn’t be happier with. Here’s my Kaspersky review :
Even though I know how to manage my machine and maximize its performance, there are just some things I can’t do for myself and I finally caved to get a high quality security software. Kaspersky basically sits in the background and does everything for me that I don’t have time to do and would rather avoid if I could. I wouldn’t be writing this Kaspersky review it I wasn’t super impressed with its abilities.
Their comprehensive package provides, of course, real-time protection against all viruses, spam, trojans, worms, rootkits, bots, and basically everything else that attacks you’re computer when you least expect it. These things all help to drag down your computer speed and clutter up your hard drive with unwanted programs. It’s a nuisance to have to find these on your own or let them cause serious damage to your system so it’s always a good idea to have a security software running at all times. The effectiveness of the Kaspersky software and its incredible ease of use definitely boost my overall Kaspersky review score.
I couldn’t complete my Kaspersky review without mentioning one of the great features included in the Kaspersky package: the Gamer Mode. This mode makes it so that the software will never be draining your computer performance while you’re playing a game. I personally love this feature since there’s nothing worse than a software scan kicking on in the middle of a raid. The guys over at Kaspersky knew what they were doing with this one.
My main concern with all my computer use, however, is making sure that my identity remains my own. There’s nothing worse than thinking someone is going to run off with all my credit card info and passwords and wreak havoc on my name. For the Kaspersky review I tried out a few tricks up my sleeve to test the effectiveness of the product and it passed with flying colors. The program has a great identity protection to handle this, blocking hackers from accessing your personal information and utilizing anti-phishing defenses that protect your passwords.
If you’re into this sort of thing, which isn’t necessarily up my alley, Kaspersky also provides great family protection controls so that you can restrict access to certain programs or sites on your computer. I have to include this in my Kaspersky review because it’s probably important to a lot of parents out there. If you’re worried about your kids accidentally releasing your information or something then Kaspersky is the way to go. Control downloads, prevent them from releasing information, and even block certain IM sites and social networks if you feel like it.
And, of course, the best part of actually purchasing your security software is the constant stream of necessary updates that they’ll let you install as a part of the package. Any time something important comes up or they update their software to stay up to date, you’ll be privy to that download so your computer will always be as protected as possible.
I’ve always believed that the most important thing you can do for your computer is make sure that it isn’t being ruined by malicious programmers out there. You can work all you want to keep your computer running smoothly and take care of everything you’d like, but sometimes it’s completely out of your control what happens to your computer via the Internet. Protect yourself from malicious spyware and dangerous programs from attacking your system with an actual security program.
Kaspersky should cover all of your needs, and it even comes with loads of extra features to boot. I hope my Kaspersky review helped you come to some conclusions about purchasing security software. This program will help you maintain your online identity, increase your computer’s performance speed, control your family’s use, and always be on top of the latest security threats to your computer. It’s really worth the investment.
