A bit off topic this week but I had to share this discovery I came across that literally blew me away.
What it is, is I’ve been considering subscribing to a satellite service for a while now but me being about as financially secure as a tramp’s dog lately… I decided the $90 monthly price tag was just too much for me.
However a good friend of mine recommended a sneaky way around this. A way of getting satellite telly without paying the monthly subscriptions that is. And I’d still get all the movies, sport and documentary channels that everyone else is paying top whack for.
Watching Satellite TV on my computer… Sounds too good to be true!
So I visited the site, downloaded the software and installed it. I got to say I was quite impressed from the word go really.
I got instant access to all the channels I was after and so much more. The quality was also impressive with nice bright and sharp pictures with good streaming too.
And all this without paying a monthly subscription!
Drawbacks to watching Satellite on your computer
If there is anything wrong with this is that not all 3000 channels are top quality. In actual fact, over half of them was either utter rubbish or was in a foreign language but to be fair I kinda expected that anyway. And although the picture quality was good Don’t expect BlueRay standard either.
That aside I thought it was well worth it. No monthly charges, hundreds of channels worth watching and if you don’t mind watching it on your computer’s monitor, to me anyway, it’s a no brainer.

Has anyone else used this software? If you have let me know what you think. I personally think it’s one of the best things I’ve stumbled across in a while and I definitely know it’s going to save me a fortune in the long run.
